PCB assembly, cable harnesses, and box builds from one Carlsbad facility

Spectrum Assembly, Inc. builds printed circuit board assemblies, cable and wire-harness assemblies, and integrated box builds for OEMs in San Diego County and Southern California. Every program is built to your specifications under a quality system certified to ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015.

Printed Circuit Board Assembly

SAI performs surface-mount and through-hole PCB assembly in Carlsbad for recurring OEM production. SMD components are traced by manufacturer lot or date code per program, and PCBA serial-number traceability can reach reference-designator level. Acrylic and urethane conformal coating are performed in-house.

Direct support from quote through production

SAI resolves missing or conflicting manufacturing information with you before production, assigns your tooling and fixtures an SAI asset number, and can run a pilot build before full production. Records such as packing slips, certificates of conformance, and Device History Records are provided when your program requires them.

Medical

Certified to ISO 13485:2016 for the medical device industry

SAI is certified to ISO 13485:2016 (certificate C0095753-MD7) for the manufacture of PCB assemblies, harnesses, cables and system integrations for the medical device industry. Traceability and records such as certificates of conformance and Device History Records are defined per program and provided when required. Review our certifications

Certificate scope.
The manufacture of PCB assemblies, harnesses, cables and system integrations per customer specifications for the medical device industry.
Pilot builds before production.
SAI can run a pilot build before full production. Your approval to proceed is informed by yield, test-data review, and completion of the agreed production goals.
