Spectrum Assembly, Inc. (SAI) is an ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100D-certified electronics contract manufacturer in Carlsbad, California, providing PCB assembly, cable and wire-harness assembly, and box-build system integration for OEMs in San Diego County and Southern California.
Both certificates are issued by NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR) and cover PCB assemblies, cable and wire-harness assemblies, and system integration.
Certified facility: 6300 Yarrow Drive, Suite 100, Carlsbad, CA 92011. In business since 1993.

What this means for your program
ISO 13485:2016 is the quality management system standard for medical device manufacturing. SAI builds PCB assemblies, cable and wire-harness assemblies, and system integrations under that system. Traceability and records are defined per program and can include a certificate of conformance and a Device History Record when required.

What this means for your program
AS9100D is the aerospace quality management standard and incorporates ISO 9001:2015. The previous AS9100D certificate runs through 2 September 2026; the renewed certificate (decision date 6 July 2026) takes effect 3 September 2026 and is valid through 2 September 2029.
